[Up] [Dromo's Den] Scipio Africanus Image Scipio Africanus (237-?185 B.C.) Scipio is the greatest Roman general before Julius Caesar. Scipio led the Romans to victory over the Carthaginians at the battle fought at Naragra, on the Bagradas, near Zama, Oct. 19, 202.
