[Up] [Dromo's Den] Julian Image Julian (Flavius Claudius Julianus), surnamed The Apostate, on account of his renunciation of Christianity. Roman Emperor (361-363 A.D.). Although Julian rejected Christianity, he was tolerant and humane. He also composed, in Greek, orations, letters, satires and poems. Among his lost works are his Refutation of the Christian Religion.
