Publius Licinius Gallienus (?-268 A.D.). Roman Emperor, (253-268 A.D.) In 260 Gallienus became sole Emperor, but his power was so weak that independent rulers arose in all parts of the Empire. This period became known as the "Reign of the Thirty Tyrants."
