Cambyses II Biography

Cambyses II (?-522 B.C.). King of the Medes and Persians from 529 to 522 B.C. He was the grandson of Cambyses I and son of Cyrus the Great. According to Herodotus, he was guilty of unspeakable cruelty and sacrilegious acts including violating the tombs of the Egyptians and even  stabbing the sacred bull of Apis.
