[Up] [Dromo's Den] Boadicea Image Boadicea, or Boadicca ( ?-62 A.D.). Queen of the Iceni, a tribe inhabiting the territory now part Norfolk and Suffolk in England. She led a revolt against the Roman occupation in 62 A.D., took Londiniurn and Verulamium, and killed, according to Tacitus, 70,000 Romans and British partisans of Rome.
