Saint Augustine (354-430) Leader of the early Christian Church. Both Martin Luther and Lohn Calvin were students of Saint Augustine. "He taught that the true Church was characterized by four qualities-unity, holiness, catholicity, and apostolicity. Outside this Church there could be no salvation."
