[Up] [Dromo's Den] Fa Hien Image Fa Hien, A Chinese Buddhist monk and traveler. From 399 to 414 he traveled in India, Khotan, and Tibet. He also journeyed through Kashmir, Kabul, Kandahar, and the Punjab, to Central India. He sought copies of the Vinayapitaka and copied many sacred texts.
