Henri Coiffier Ruzé d'Effiat, Marquis de Cinq-Mars (1620-42). A protégé of Richelieu, Cinq-Mars later became an opponent of the Cardinal. Richelieu discovered a conspiracy, Cinq-Mars was imprisoned, tried, and executed with De Thou in 1642.
